The Produce Section

While performing some follow-up research for a soon-to-be-posted blog entry on turning a favorite holiday carol into a themed dinner for the inlaws (stay tuned loyal Burban readers), I discovered that while heirloom vegetable production in my backyard is really still at preliminary levels, harvest is well under way at the local Whole Foods market.

The image at left is the WesFoodie's best tomato sprout (var.=Purple Calabash) as of this afternoon after six weeks of caring, warming, lighting and prayer and at right is the daily harvest this morning at Whole Foods.
